How MGN handles your information
Last updated: 3 July 2026
Media Golf Network (“MGN”, “we”) is a small, invitation-only members’ network. We take the plainest possible approach to privacy: we only collect what the product needs to work, and we never sell or share your information with advertisers.
Who runs MGN
MGN is operated by its founder. If you have any question about your data, email us and we will answer personally.
What we collect
- The email address and password you use to sign in.
- Your member profile: name, role, organisation, region, and the details you choose to add during onboarding.
- Events you host, and the personal note you write to your guests.
- Invitations you send and receive, and whether they were accepted.
- Basic technical logs from your browser (needed to keep the service running).
What we do with it
- Show your profile to other members so hosts can invite you.
- Show your event and invitations to the people involved.
- Send you the small number of emails required to run your account (sign-in, password reset).
- Keep the service safe and functional.
We do not run advertising. We do not send marketing emails without asking you first. We do not sell your data.
Who can see what
- Your profile is visible to other signed-in members.
- An event page is visible to the host, invited members, and other signed-in members who receive the link. It is not indexed by search engines.
- Invitation details (who accepted, personal notes) are visible only to the invitee and the host.
Where it’s stored
Your data is stored in a managed database provided by our infrastructure partner (Supabase, running on secure cloud infrastructure). Access is restricted and encrypted in transit.
Cookies
We use only the cookies strictly required to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, so no cookie banner is required.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account. Email us and we will action it within a few days.
