For hosts
Thinking about hosting a day?
Hosts are the reason MGN exists. Everything else in the product is in service of making it easier for a good host to put on a good day.
Why hosting matters
A well-hosted golf day is one of the last remaining places in the industry where four people can spend five uninterrupted hours together. The best business relationships tend to start there. Our job is to make it easier for the people who already do this well to do it more often.
What hosting on MGN looks like
- You choose the course, the format, the date, and the tone.
- You write a short personal note to your guests — this is what they read when the invitation lands.
- You invite people from the network by searching, or by name if you already know who you want.
- Guests accept or decline in one tap. You see the guest list as it forms.
What we don't do
- We do not publicise your event. Event pages are private, not indexed, and shared only with the people you invite.
- We do not add uninvited members to your day.
- We do not send marketing on your behalf.
Who should host
You do not have to be senior, and you do not have to be a low handicap. Hosts on MGN tend to share one trait: they are the sort of person other people are happy to hear from. If that sounds like you, you should host.
